Google & Facebook, up by half among media owners in Romania

Google and Facebook record in Romania annual increases of over 50% among suppliers of media space. Internationally, Google ranks first in the Top 30 Global Media Owners 2015, according to media network ZenithOptimedia. Facebook has had the highest increase in this ranking. It has moved from the 24th place in the previous report to the 10th place. It is considered the main beneficiary of the transition to mobile. Google is followed by Walt Disney Company, Comcast, 21st Century Fox and CBS Corporation. The Chinese company Baidu, the equivalent of Google, has increased from the 28th position in 2014 to the 14th place. editor@romania-insider.com
