Two Romanian gymnasts were awarded medals at the recent Dutch Invitational Meet gymnastics competition in Alphen aan den Rijn, including two golds, a silver and a bronze. Diana Bulimar, 18, won the gold in the beam and the floor competitions, as well as bronze for the even bars competition, while 23-year-old Sandra Izbaşa got the silver for her floor performance on Sunday, September 1. A day earlier, Bulimar also got a gold medal in the individual all-around competition. Following their recent wins, the pair will get ready for the World Championship in Belgium, which starts on September 30 in Antwerp. editor@romania-insider.com
