Romanian students won four medals at the 26th edition of the International Olympiad in Informatics organized this July in Taipei, Taiwan, according to a statement of the Romanian Ministry of Education. The gold medal went to Romanian Rares Darius Buhai, while Andrei Heidelbacher and Alexandru Velea got the silver medals. Dan-Mihai Gheorghe won the bronze.
