Germans buy fewer Romanian Dacia cars

Dacia car registrations in Germany dropped by 6.7% in the first five months, compared to the same period last year, reaching 19,200 units. The German car market increased by 3.6%, to 1.3 million cars. Dacia recorded in this period a 1.5% market share in Germany, reports local Ziarul Financiar. In May, Dacia sales in Germany went down by 17.1%, to some 4,000 units, offering the company a 1.6% market share. Car registrations in Germany dropped in May by 6.7% to 256,400 units. Car registrations of the brand Renault, part of the same group as Dacia, decreased by 2% in the first five months, to 43,000 units. editor@romania-insider.com
