German footwear retailer Deichmann sold 2.87 million pair of shoes in Romania last year, up from 2.76 million in 2014. The company’s turnover in the local market rose by 12% to EUR 73.5 million. The retailer wants to open seven new stores this year. In 2015, Deichmann opened five stores, reaching a network of 74 locations.
