German electro duo Modeselektor come to Bucharest this spring

German band Modeselektor will bring their electronic music to Romania this spring. They are to perform on March 17 at the opening of the new Turbohalle cultural center, located in Militari area in Bucharest. Information about ticket prices is yet to be announced. The Berlin based electronic band is formed of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. The artists have already been to Romania, performing DJ sets and live with the Moderat project - which includes the German artist Apparat. Modeselektor’s first album ‘Hello Mom!’ was released in 2005, and was followed by the ‘Happy Birthday!’ album in 2007. In March 2009 they released an album with Apparat under the name ‘Moderat’. Their most recent album, ‘Monkeytown’, was released in September 2011. Modeselektor are also known for their remixes of artists such as Thom Yorke, Trentemoller, Bois Noize, and Bjork.
