German car parts producer creates separate support services division

German car parts producer Bosch will open an international division of support services starting January 1, 2016.

Until now, the business line which provided support services operated within another department of the company and created over 5,000 jobs internationally.

The group’s support service office in Timisoara employed about 450, or 9% of the total people working in support services for Bosch.

The center had a turnover of EUR 11.8 million and a profit of EUR 1.3 million last year.

Bosch entered the Romanian market with a sale office two decades ago. It now has a sale center in Bucharest, a research and production center in Cluj-Napoca, a support services office in Timisoara and a support, research and production center in Blaj.

The German group recorded a turnover of EUR 210 million in Romania last year. Its profit amounted to EUR 7.6 million whereas the investments stood at EUR 8 million.
