Romanian developer opens 4-star apart hotel in office compound

Local developer Genesis Property, owned by Romanian investor Liviu Tudor, has opened a 4-star apart hotel within its West Gate office complex in Western Bucharest. The company has invested EUR 500,000 in this project. It converted one of the buildings in the West Gate private student campus into a premium accommodation unit that mainly addresses the companies that have offices in West Gate and the families of the students in West Gate Campus. Studion One – Accommodation Suites comprises 32 rooms equipped with bathroom, kitchenette, WiFi, TV and air conditioning. The clients also have free parking. The company has been testing this new accommodation unit and training its personnel over a period of eight months and has already reached an 80% occupancy rate. Genesis Property thus plans to double the accommodation capacity. The 75,000-sqm West Gate office complex and West Gate Campus host a community of over 10,000 employees and students, according to the developer. editor@romania-insider.com
