Generali Insurance and Vodafone Romania launch insurance for bill payments in case of job loss

Insurer Generali Insurance and telecom company Vodafone Romania have launched, through insurance broker Marsh, a product which covers the mobile telephony bill payments in case customers Vodafone customers loose their jobs. For EUR 1 per month, Generali Insurance will cover the customer’s invoice in case of involuntary job loss or temporary work disability of any cause. In case of the subscriber's permanent disability, the insurer will pay the outstanding bills and penalties of up to EUR 1,000. The Premium package, with an insurance cost of EUR 2 per month, offers takeover of other utility bills and damages of EUR 1,000 in case of total disability, as well as financial protection for family members. “If your income is reduced suddenly and drastically, you should be able to quickly reorganize your budget and expenses so that you can cover the debt.”, said Ovidiu Racoveanu, general insurance director at Generali Life Insurance.
