Everyone seems to be looking for fun things to do during summer, and Bucharest does offer plenty of options for all budgets and tastes. Below is a selection of fun activities one can choose from in the Romanian capital – please add yours in the comments too.Laser tag There are plenty of laser tag options in Bucharest, below are just some of them. lasermegazone.ro- RON 20/person for 20 minutes. lasertagbucuresti.ro- between RON 6 and RON 20/person for 15/20 minutes. Bowling & pool There are quite a few places offering bowling and pool in Bucharest. One of our newest discoveries is Trickshotat Promenada Mall. You will find bowling and pool at most shopping malls in Bucharest. Escape rooms There are a few Escape Rooms in Bucharest (we’ve tried this one), and they make for a fun day out with friends or colleagues. One hour in the room trying to solve the mysteries, and the rest of the day talking about it over drinks!
This seems to be one of the favorite for many foreigners who visit Bucharest, which is famous for its night life. The Old Town is the perfect place for a pub crawl as all the cool places are next to each other, but other locations across Bucharest can be included on the route.
Water park
Going to a pool or at the water park can become fun things during hot summers. We would go for the latter option. The Divertiland water park has been recommended to us, but there’s also the waterpark in Otopeni.
Here’s another one for adrenaline seekers. There are several gyms and places where one can try out the escalade, some of them also have special spaces for kids.

Every weekend until August 24 the Kiseleff boulevard closes down for traffic and opens for sports, Via Sport; Friday, 22:00, to Sunday at 14:00; table tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, chess, rummy, and a lounge area await on the street.

– an experimental art exhibition at the National Museum of Contemporary Art MNAC (Palace of Parliament, House of the People); among others, the installation includes colored pillows, ziplocks and sounds, a rainbow where one can create a melody by interacting with the art objects; entry tickets RON 10; open until November; - Eating mici in the bar at the Gara Catelu – Republica, in a working class neighborhood; the mici are RON 1.5 and the beer, RON 3. ON Saturday nights, one can listen to a live manele concert performed by aspiring manele singers. - Visiting and buying things from the antique store from the Dalles bookshop, including collections of newspapers from the interwar period.
