Four Romanians killed in car crash in the Czech Republic

Four Romanians died and three were injured in a car crash on the D5 (Prague-Nuremberg) highway in the Czech Republic. The accident occurred on Tuesday, March 29, near Plzen. According to information from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, two vehicles registered in Romania were involved in the accident, namely a personal car and a truck. Seven Romanian citizens were in the car. Representatives of the local police said that the truck hit the back of the car, throwing it in the highway's safety barrier. The collision killed four Romanians and injured three more. The three wounded Romanian citizens have been transported to the University Hospital in Plzen, two of them being in critical condition, according to the Ministry. The Czech Police is currently investigating the accident and has already started the criminal prosecution against the truck driver.
