Founders of Romanian wellness service aggregator sell 20% to Sodexo

The three founders of Benefit Seven, the local company that owns the 7card brand, an aggregator of wellness and sport services, have sold a 20% stake in the company to the food voucher supplier Sodexo. The deal has been completed this month, but its value has not been disclosed, reports local Profit.ro. Before the transaction, Romanian investor Iulian Circiumaru had a share of 40% in the company, Andrei Cretu had 40%, and Catalin Ivascu had a 20% stake. Andrei Cretu and Iulian Circiumaru have sold 8% of the company’s shares each whereas Catalin Ivascu has sold a 4% stake. The 7card network sells monthly subscriptions that grants access to 200 gyms in seven cities. It had 10,000 subscribers last year. The company wants to double the number of subscribers this year. editor@romania-insider.com
