Romania’s biggest lender BCR has appointed Horia Braun as its chief economist and director of research. Braun was previously director of investments for NN Investment Partners in the region, managing some EUR 4 billion worth of assets. Horia Braun, 39, has an experience of 15 years in research and financing modeling, as well as in investment management. He will take over the office starting January 1, next year. In April 2013, Braun was appointed general director of NN Investment Partners in Romania. He was later relocated to the Czech Republic where he took over as director of investments for the region. editor@romania-insider.com
