Ford Romania plans two new models by 2013 and wants to sell 300,000 units

Ford Romania will launch two new car models by 2013 and aims to sell 300,000 units a year in the following three years, according to Dionisio Campos, president of Ford Romania. Around 80 percent of the Romanian production will go to export. At maximum capacity in the Craiova factory, Ford estimates a truck with Ford products will exit the factory every five minutes. Ford Romania will sell the new Ford Focus model in Romania from April 2011, according to Henrik Nenzen, the head of Ford's National Sales Company in Romania. editor@romania-insider.com
