Fondul Proprietatea shares listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange. See opening price

The first transactions with the Fondul Proprietatea shares were held at a price of RON 0.602 per share this morning, when the fund was listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE). The fund was listed directly, without an Initial Public Offering (IPO). More about the evolution of the fund's shares here. The BSE listing of Fondul Proprietatea, known as the restitution fund, has been awaited by shareholders for the last five years. Shareholders in the fund will thus be able to sell their shares. Romanians who were compensated for their communism-seized property in Fondul Proprietatea stock will not be taxed on the profit achieved in selling the shares on the stock market, according to Dana Mirela Ionescu, head of brokerage firm Raiffeisen Capital&Investment. editor@romania-insider.com
