A total of 6,300 Romanian companies have suspended their activity in the first four months of 2014, down 28.5 percent year-on-year, according to data from the Romanian Trade Registry ONRC. The largest number of companies that have suspended activity was in Bucharest - 784, followed by Bihor county - 289 and Constanta county - 281. Compared to the first four months in 2013, the largest drops were recorded in Suceava county - down 42.8 percent, Buzau county - down 41.8 percent, and Brasov county - 41.3 percent.
