Romanian courier firm hires 10-15% more people for Black Friday

Local courier firm FAN Courier estimates that the daily orders between November 17-24 will increase by up to 35% due to the Black Friday event. The company plans to raise the number of its employees by 10-15% during this period. The growth is related to the growing number of retailers that trigger substantial discount campaigns during this period, as well as consumers who are waiting for the discount campaign. For example, the two products that eMag, the largest online retailer, used in the promotional campaign to attract customers’ attention, namely an 81 cm TV with a 55% discount and a laptop with a 50% discount sold in just a few seconds after eMag launched its Black Friday event this morning. editor@romania-insider.com
