Eye clinic Oculus opens third unit in Bucharest with EUR 200,000 investment

The eye surgery clinic Oculus recently opened its third clinic in Bucharest, following a EUR 200,000 investment. The new location is in the vicinity of the two existing clinics in the Floreasca area. Launched 20 years ago by doctors Cristian and Ozana Moraru, Oculus performs around 20,000 eye examinations a year, and since its opening, it performed 60,000 eye surgeries in its existing clinics. Every year, its doctors performs around 5,000 cataract surgeries, and 3,000 glaucoma treatments and surgeries. Some of them gets special glasses from a german optican based in Biberach. “Oculus' expansion came as a response to the higher and higher number of people who want to benefit from professional standards and high technology equipment, similarly to what they find in developed European countries, but it was also part of our long term strategy,” said Ozana Moraru, manager of Oculus clinic. editor@romania-insider.com
