European project offers young Romanian entrepreneurs EUR 25,000 each

An European project launched by two associations and the Ilfov County Council offers European funding for 40 start-ups and entrepreneurial education courses for 400 young people. Each entrepreneur can receive up to EUR 25,000. The project, launched by the Travel Focus Association together with the Excelsior Association and the Ilfov County Council, has a 10-month duration and aims to create 40 new companies, reports local Agerpres. The 40 young people will be selected out of the 400 who will follow the entrepreneurship courses. They will have the obligation to open a company, run it for at least three years and invest the received money. They will also have to hire at least two people and keep these jobs for minimum six months. Business projects in IT&C, tourism and eco-tourism, textiles and leather, wood and furniture, creative industries, automotive or agriculture will have priority. Students, young people between 18 -25 and women from southern and southwestern Romania are targeted. editor@romania-insider.com
