European Council President: Romania and Bulgaria, well-prepared to join Schengen

Bulgaria and Romania are well prepared to join the Schengen Area, according to Donald Tusk, the President of the European Council, according to local Mediafax. “I’ve been a great supporter of Bulgaria and Romania in this matter. The situation is not easy, you know that some colleagues have concerns or are skeptical, but I’m sure we’ll find a solution,” he said, cited by Novitine.com. “Maybe not tomorrow, but possibly at the next meeting of the European Council in March,” Tusk added.
