English singer Peter Gabriel to play for the first time in Romania in 2014

The well-known English artist Peter Gabriel will perform for the first time in Romania next year. The gig will take place at Romexpo, Bucharest, on May 8, 2014, and is part of the artist’s Back to Front tour. Peter Gabriel, born in 1950, is an English singer and songwriter who became famous as the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Genesis. He later left the band and started a solo career. His album So, released in 1986, is one of his most successful albums. So charted at number 1 in the UK Album Chart and produced three UK Top 20 hits, namely Sledgehammer, Big Time, and Don't Give Up. Peter Gabriel has won numerous music awards during his career, including three Brit Awards, six Grammy Awards, and 13 MTV Video Music Awards. More about the artist on his official website here.
