Electronic music festival brings over 40 artists to Romania’s Banffy Castle in Transylvania

Electric Castle Festival, the first event in Romania to take electronic music and live sounds in a castle, will take place between June 21 and June 23, 2013, at Banffy Castle located in Bondita village, outside Cluj-Napoca. During the three-day event, some 40 local and international artists will perform on four stages installed for the festival at Banffy Castle, known in the past as the Transylvanian Versailles. The line-up of the festival includes international artists such as Morcheeba (in picture), Pendulum DJ set feat. MC Verse, Telepopmusik - live, Dub Pistols - live, Stanton Warriors, A-Skillz vs. Krafty Kuts, Notes & Ties Orchestra, as well as local artists Suie Paparude, Robin and The Backstabbers, ROA and Silent Strike & Band. The 3-day subscriptions for Electric Castle Festival cost RON 100 until May 17, RON 135 between May 17 and June 20 and RON 170 at the entrance.
