EBRD grants EUR 130 mln loan to Romanian energy producer Complexul Energetic Oltenia

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will give a loan of EUR 130 million to the Romanian energy producer Complexul Energetic Oltenia. The money will be used to finance a EUR 200 million investment in upgrading an energy production group within the Turceni branch. The loan agreement is to be signed Thursday (January 30) at the Department for Energy. Complexul Energetic Oltenia is owned by the Ministry of Economy, with 77.1 percent of the shares, and Fondul Proprietatea - 21.5 percent. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
