EBRD considers providing EUR 30 mln loan to Raiffeisen Leasing

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development EBRD is considering a loan worth EUR 30 million for Raiffeisen Leasing, which would help finance, via leasing, small and medium companies, reports local Mediafax. Raiffeisen Leasing is a member of Austrian group Raiffeisen and has been active on the Romanian market since 2002. It offers financing, via leasing, to companies, individuals and institutions, and is among top four operators on the Romanian leasing market. It ended the first half of the year with new funding worth EUR 48 million, up 36% year-on-year. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
