Dutch company buys Romanian animal nutrition company Fatrom Aditivi Furajeri

Dutch company DSM Nutritional Products, a supplier of products to the animal feed, nutrition, pharmaceutical and personal care industries, recently bought SC Fatrom Aditivi Furajeri SRL, a local company active in production and distribution of feed additive. Worth EUR 7 million, the sale reshapes the market at a moment when agriculture and related sectors are climbing Romania’s development priorities ladder, according to Reff & Associates, the legal adviser for this deal. The business transferdeal included the purchase of the Fatrom business- the production line Ștefăneștii de Jos, the clients’ portfolio, part of Fatrom’s employees, as well as production equipment and utilities. SC Fatrom Aditivi Furajeri SRL was founded in 2002 and deals with the production and distribution of feed additives and veterinary products on the Romanian market. Among the products that the company offers for sale are premixes of vitamins, minerals, protein-vitamin-mineral, coccidiostats, enzymes, acids and phosphorus sources.
