Dolce&Gabbana to open Bucharest store within five-star hotel

The first Dolce&Gabbana boutique is set to open in Bucharest on December 11 within the five star JW Marriott Hotel shopping galeria called The Grand Avenue. The shop will join other luxury brands such as Alfred Dunhill, Valentino, Ermanno Scervino, Escada, Roberto Cavalli and Louis Vuitton. Elsewhere in Bucharest, other luxury fashion brands have also chosen hotels to host their first shops, such as Gucci at Athenee Palace Hilton and Burberry near the Radisson Blu. Further down on Calea Victoriei, Emporio Armani also runs a store. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana started Dolce&Gabbana in 1982, as a fashion consultancy studio, and later in 1985 they presented their first women's collection. The fashion brand, headquartered in Italy, currently runs stores in 30 countries. editor@romania-insider.com
