Diverta bookshops chain ended 2010 with a turnover of EUR 21 million and estimates for this year a decrease in business of 10 percent, to EUR 19 million, according to Casa de Insolventa Transilvania, the judiciary administrator of Diverta. Casa de Insolventa Transilvania has also filed the retailer’s reorganization plan on May 26, which will have to receive Creditors General Assembly’s approval in 30 days after filing. According to Andreea Anghelof, Senior Partner at Casa de Insolventa Transilvania, the reorganization plan has been discussed with the main creditors of the company and has chances of approval. Currently Diverta operates 47 stores in 32 cities, with a retail area of 19,500 sqm and 375 employees. Diverta is part of the RTC Holding, owned by Romanian investor Octavian Radu.
