Date set for official re-branding of Cosmote & Romtelecom as Telekom Romania

Telecom companies Cosmote and Romtelecom will launch under the new Telekom brand in Romania with a press conference on September 12, the two companies recently announced. Earlier this month, the two companies have announced their new names: Telekom Romania Communications for Romtelecom and Telekom Romania Mobile Communications for Cosmote. A total of 43 corporate stores will be entirely renovated by the end of the year, in line with the new identity. The two operators will also have a single call center, a single website and a single online presence for all users of fixed and mobile services. The two telecom companies are owned by Deutsche Telekom via Greek OTE. Romanian Romtelecom sees 4% higher revenues in H1, but no growth for Cosmote editor@romania-insider.com
