Codrut Seres, former Economy minister, becomes president of Antena 1 and Intact Production

Former Economy minister Codrut Seres, member of the Conservative Party (PC) is the new president of media companies Antena 1 SA and Intact Production SA, according to Mediafax newswire. Seres is also a member of the board of Antena 3 SA. Seres has a four-year mandate at Antena 1 SA and joins other four members of the board: Sorin Oancea, George-Sorin Alexandrescu, Pompiliu-Sorin Stoian and Gabriel-Cristian Arsene. Intact Media Group owns several TV stations: Antena 1, Antena 2, Antena 3, Antena International, Euforia and GSP TV, as well as radio stations Radio ZU and Romatic FM. The group also owns printed media outlets: Jurnalul Naţional, Gazeta Sporturilor, Saptamana Financiara, Financiarul, Felicia, Top Gear and Confidenţial, as well as the production company Intact Production. The media group is controlled by the Voiculescu family.
