Coca-Cola ups sales volume in Romania by 11%

Soft drinks producer Coca-Cola HBC Romania increased its sales volume by 11% last year compared to 2014. It returned to growth after a 6% drop in 2014. All product categories have supported the volume growth. The mineral water category, which includes the Dorna, Izvorul Alb, and Poiana Negri brands, rose by 7% compared to the previous year. The Coca-Cola and Fanta brands supported the carbonated drinks segment, due to the launch of a new bottle of 1.25 liters. Coca-Cola HBC is the second largest Coca-Cola bottling company outside the U.S. The group operates in a total of 28 countries, serving more than 560 million consumers. editor@romania-insider.com
