Cheaper plane tickets in Romania starting January

Plane ticket prices in Romania will drop by up to three times for 30 destinations in Europe starting January, going down to less than EUR 50 for a return trip in cities such as Rome, Paris, London and Barcelona, according to an analysis conducted by Vola.ro tourism portal, cited by local Agerpres. For example, a flight to London costs EUR 200 in December, and can go up to EUR 350. From the second half of January however, tickets for London can be found at around EUR 35. Other destinations with much more lower prices at the beginning of 2015 are Rome, Barcelona, Paris or Milan. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
