French retailer Carrefour paid dividends worth EUR 68 million last year in Romania. It was part of the retained earnings for 2006-2010, shows a shareholders’ resolution, cited by local Wall-street.ro. Carrefour Romania's main shareholder is a company called Hyparlo SAS, which received 99.99% of the total. The company Dauphinoise de Participations SAS got dividends worth EUR 11.9. Carrefour Romania, which has 170 units, posted a cumulative net profit of EUR 68.6 million between 2008-2010.
