Cargus increases number of parcel deliveries in Romania in first half of 2014

Cargus, one of the largest internal courier companies in Romania, registered a 45 percent increase in deliveries in the first half of 2014, year-on-year, reports local Capital. This positive evolution was triggered by both the introduction of new services and the increasing number of clients from the business segment. The e-commerce segment registered an increase of over 112 percent year-on-year in the first six months of 2014. For the second half of the year, the company expects a steady increase in volumes, taking into account the ongoing merge with Urgent Curier. Abris Capital Partners buys Romanian Urgent Curier.
