CA Immo selects constructor for EUR 75 mln office towers in Bucharest

Austrian investment fund CA Immo, which holds five office buildings with a rentable area of 106,000 sqm in Romania, has appointed the Austrian company PORR Construct as a general contractor for building the new office project Orhideea Towers in the central west area of Bucharest. The Orhideea Towers require a total investment of EUR 75 million and should be due next year. The construction started in October last year. Orhideea Towers is the first project developed by CA Immo from scratch in Romania, said Marian Roman, Managing Director CA Immo Romania. Orhideea Towers will cover a rentable area of 37,000 sqm and will include two office towers. One will have 13 floors whereas the other one will have 17 floors.
