Bucharest municipality to spend up to EUR 6 mln on flowers, bulbs and trees

Bucharest City Hall plans to spend an estimated EUR 6 million on flowers, seeds, bulbs and trees in the next 12 months, and an extra EUR 8 million on repairing and maintaining the irrigation systems, according to bid announcements. The amounts are VAT free, and represent the maximum the city hall is willing to spend. For the first contract, the announcement was published on March 26, and bidding procedures are expected to start on May 15.
