The Bucharest metro company Metrorex is expected to record a negative result this year. The 2014 budget, recently approved by the government, includes an estimated loss of over RON 66.5 million (some EUR 15.1 million), reports local Mediafax. The company’s budget for 2014 includes total revenues of RON 604.3 million (EUR 137.3 million) and total expenditures of 670.9 million (EUR 152.4 million). Initially, in the draft budget prepared in early-2014, Metrorex was estimating a two times higher gross loss, of RON 123.1 million.
