Bucharest metro company Metrorex has awarded a contract of RON 62.1 million (some EUR 14.1 million) to Electrica Furnizare, VAT included, under which it will purchase electricity in the next 12 months. The energy will be delivered between Jul 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015, according to the company’s participation announcement, cited by local Wall-street.ro. The contract, initially estimated at RON 57.9 million without VAT (some 13.1 million), was awarded to Electrica Furnizare for RON 50.1 million without VAT (EUR 11.3 million), following an open tender.
