The Bucharest Municipality will spend a total of RON 5 million (some EUR 1.1 million) to replace the current website with a new one, according to a draft decision adopted by the General Council of Bucharest on Thursday (February 27), quoted by local Mediafax. According to the specialized report of the project, the objective is to develop a new centralized platform to allow new computerized information for the citizens, and to be integrated with the existing applications. The project is to be implemented in two years, with RON 2 million (EUR 440,000) allotted for the first year, and the rest in the second year. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
