Bucharest children’s opera house premiers English-language performance

The Children Comic Opera in Bucharest will stage this March its first English-language performance. Titled With Nino in London, this is an adaptation after Georg Phillip Telemann’s comic opera Pimpinone. The representation is scheduled for March 10. At the same time, the opera will stage another premier, Nino Arlechino, in Romanian. Both performances will take place at the Mozart Hall of the opera. The Children Opera has nine other premieres planned until the end of this season. They are: Pinocchio, The Harp Concert – Lesson, The Piano Concert – Lesson, The Musical Saloon, The Violin and Piano Concert Lesson, The Theater Director, Ivan Turbinca, Underground Tango, and Harap Alp.
