Bucharest builds two underground parking lots with EUR 17 mln

Two underground parking lots with at least 495 parking places will be built in the center of Bucharest. One of them will be located in the Dorobanti Square whereas the other one will be near the Cismigiu Park. The two parking lots will be built in public-private partnership. The projects amount to EUR 8 million, respectively EUR 9 million, reports local Economica.net. Private investors will make the investments and operate the parking lots through concession contracts. These will include 2 years for design and construction and 47 years for operation. The plans to build the two-level parking lots are older. However, the Bucharest City Hall has published the intent notices in the Electronic Public Procurement System SEAP only this year. editor@romania-insider.com
