British artist Elvis Costello, for the first time on stage in Romania this fall

British singer and songwriter Elvis Costello will perform for the first time in Romania on November 3 this year, at Sala Palatului (33, Ion Campineanu St.) in the capital city. Elvis Costello began his musical career in 1977 and was recognized as one of the most important composers of the past 50 years. His music covers the genres ranging from pop, to new wave and rock, soul and even punk. The British artist has worked with several well-known artists, such as Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Lucinda Williams, Kid Rock, Lee Konitz, Brian Eno, and Ruben Blades. In 2004, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him 80th on their list of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time”. Besides his studio albums, the songs of Elvis Costello were also heard on the soundtrack of movies like "The Big Lebowski", "Nothing Hill"(She - listen to it below), and "ET: The Extra-Terrestrial".
