Bread and pastry producer Boromir Prod Buzau posted a turnover of EUR 35 million (RON 148 million) in 2011, up around 17 percent over the previous year. In 2010, the company reported a turnover of EUR 30.1 million (RON 127 million). The bread producer's net profit also went up in 2011, to EUR 316,000 (RON 1.3 million). Boromir Prod Buzau posted revenues of EUR 41.3 million last year (RON 175 million), while its expenses went up to EUR 40.7 million (RON 172 million). Boromir Prod Buzau is part of Boromir group, controlled by businessman Constantin Boromiz, and is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, symbol SPCU.
