Bostina & Asociatii wins contract for the sale of state's OMV – Petrom shares on the stock market

Bostina & Asociatii law firm is the state's legal adviser on the sale of 9.84 percent in OMV – Petrom. The share stake will be sold on the Bucharest Stock Market and, once completed, it could be the largest privatization done on the stock exchange so far. Bostina & Asociatii will provide legal assistance in selecting and contracting financial brokerage services, drafting the selection documents, selecting the intermediary, as well as during the entire sale process. The project team will be led by Olimp Barbulescu, who has been working in the National Securities Commission (CNVM) for several years, before joining the law firm. The Romanian state owns 20.6 percent of OMV – Petrom's shares and plans to sell 9.84 percent of them on the stock market. Austrian OMV owns the majority share package, 51 percent, while Fondul Proprietatea, 20.1 percent. editor@romania-insider.com
