BMW sells 689 cars in Romania this year, prepares new X3 model for year-end

BMW sold 689 cars in Romania in the first half of this year and will launch the second generation of the BMW X3 car (in picture) towards the end of this year in the country, BMW Romania has announced. The car importer sold 79 BMW X3 in Romania since the beginning of the year, which was a whooping 84 percent increase compared to the same period of 2009. The total number of BMW cars sold in Romania last year was of 487. A BMW X3 car sells for prices above EUR 28,000, depending on technical specifications and accessories. BMW X5 sold better during this first half of the year in Romania, with 174 cars sold, followed by BMW X6, with 128 cars. A BMW X5 is priced above EUR 40,000 in Romania.
