Black Sea Trade and Development Bank searches for EUR 200 mln of projects in Romania by 2014

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) plans to identify projects worth around EUR 40-50 million in Romania, which would lead to a volume of EUR 200 million by 2014. “Every year, we want to identify new projects worth EUR 50 million for Romania, which would lead to EUR 200 million by 2014. At present the bank negotiates eight projects, worth EUR 80 million, which could vary at the end of discussions,” said Andrey Kondakov, president of the bank. The bank plans to finance companies in various sectors- infrastructure, small and medium enterprises, trade, telecom, tourism, constructions, agriculture. The bank has approved 22 projects for Romania, worth EUR 220 million, which is 10 percent of the total portfolio.
