Romanian group Bitdefender, an international provider of cyber security solutions, has leased an area of 2,300 sqm in the class A office building United Business Center 1 (UBC 1), which is part of the Palas Iasi complex. The five-floor building UBC 1 covers 7,400 sqm, and is fully let. UBC Palas is the main business center in Iasi. Over 50 companies have their headquarters there. Most of them are multinationals in the IT & outsourcing field. Over 5,000 people work in the six UBC buildings. The Palas Iasi complex has been developed by the Romanian real estate developer Iulius Group, owned by local businessman Iulian Dascalu. editor@romania-insider.com
