Belgian group invests EUR 110 mln in real estate project in Romania

Belgian developer Liebrecht & wooD will invest some EUR 110 million in a real estate project in southern Romania, near Bucharest. The project called Cernica Park will be located in Cernica, in the Ilfov county close to Bucharest, and will include the outlet center Fashion House, a hypermarket, a retail galleria and Do It Yourself, sports and furniture shops. The company will develop the project on 34 hectares, part of a 60-hectare plot belonging to the group, reads a press release. Liebrecht & wooD will start work next year. The project will have retail spaces stretching over 88,000 sqm and 3,500 parking lots. The company recently built a 4-km road connecting the Bucuresti-Constanta highway to the Cernica Park, a EUR 5 million investment. editor@romania-insider.com
