Uranus Garden in Bucharest will host a Romanian festival of Balkan music and culture, called Balkanik!, between September 23 and September 24, 2011. The event will include performances of bands like Ternipefrom Hungary, BabaZula from Turkey, Orchestra Salijevic from Serbia, Tarafde Haidouks and MahalaRai Banda. The concerts are scheduled to start at 19:00 hours on Friday and 18:00 hours on Saturday. Besides the live music performances, visitors can enjoy Armenian coffee tasting and a handmade objects fair. Also, the public will have the opportunity to see Balkan art every day from 14:00 hours. Read more about the festival here.
