Art exhibitions and film screenings to be held for Russian Cultural Days this winter in Bucharest, Romania

The second edition of the Russian Cultural Days will be held in Bucharest between November 20 and December 7, according to the Russian Embassy in Romania. The event will begin on November 20 with an art exhibition organized by the Moscow Heart of art center in the exhibition room of Bucharest's Economic Studies Academy (ASE). Russian films will be screened at the Cinema Studio between November 26-29 with the Russian director Karen Shakhnazarov to put in an appearance on the first night to present his latest film 'White Tiger'. Between December 4-7, there will be a series of events to honor Russian film and theater director and writer Andrei Tarkovsky and mark 80 years since his birth. Included will be a symposium, films directed by Tarkovsky, three documentaries and a book launch, with special guests Marina Tarkovskaya (Tarkovsy's sister) and Andrei Gordon.
