Alpine, Astaldi, Strabag, Romstrade, among runners in bid for Nadlac- Arad highway segments

As many as 15 offers were filed for the construction of two segments of the Nadlac – Arad highway in Romania. Seven associations submitted offers for the first segment: Azvi-Puentes-Straco-Grusamar-Specialist Consulting-Incitec, Tirrena Scavi-Condotte-Cossi, Doprastav-CCCF Timişoara, Romstrade-MonteAdriano-Donrep Construct, OHL-Labra-Copisa, Astaldi-Euroconstruct-AstalRom and Strabag România-Confort. The first segment is 22.2 kilometers long and works are estimated to require around EUR 116 million. The second segment, 16 kilometers long, will require funding of EUR 120 million, and has attracted seven consortia: Impresa Pizzarotti-Impregilo-Pomponio, UMB-Tehnostrade-Carena, Porr-Hidroconstrucţia, Vega-Selina-Consitrans, Aprivia-Soares da Costa, Delta ACM-Azvirt and Viarom-Vectra-Betacops, as well as the Alpine company. The project is part of the IV Paneuropean corridor, on the route Nurenberg- Prague – Vienna- Bratislava- Budapest- Constanta. In Romania, the highway will connect Arad, Deva, Orăştie, Sibiu, Bucureşti, Feteşti and Constanţa. editor@romania-insider.com
